Where do I begin? After numerous years of being inactive and terribly out-of-shape, I decided to enroll in Pilates classes. I actually was clueless as to what pilates entailed. I just knew I didn't want a gym membership, nor did I want high impact aerobics classes. -- Brenda De La Cruz
To say I struggled the first two weeks of classes is an understatement. I was more out of shape than I ever imagined. However, by week three I felt stronger and was more confident in class.
That's not even the best part. The best part is the fact that at the beginning of February (when I started twice weekly classes) I was at 25.5 body fat. Today, I'm down to 23!!!
Again, this is my first ever time doing pilates but Claire is the best instructor ever!! She focuses on all aspects - not like a typical aerobics class where the instructor isn't truly watching your form and breathing. Claire is on top of it!
